Hear Your Way — 6 Essential Things To Look For In An Advanced Hearing Aid

If you’ve been using hearing aids for any length of time, then you’re probably familiar with their common downfalls.

There’s one example that drives me crazy, personally.

We can make submarines that can explore the ocean depths — and send astronauts in sealed suits to explore the vacuum of space — but we can’t make a waterproof hearing aid?

Technology is advancing all the time — but often not in the ways we might expect.

I guess some problems are complicated in ways that aren’t exactly obvious at first glance.

However, today — I feel like we have reached a milestone.

A victory that I have personally been looking forward to for decades.

It’s the first point in my list of essentials for a hearing aid that will truly fit your lifestyle.

1.Waterproof

That’s right. You heard it here first.

Some genius has finally done it — they’ve created a waterproof hearing aid.

No need to worry about sweat or rain — you can wear it in the shower!

I wouldn’t suggest going swimming, but I guess we can’t have everything on the first try.

2. Rechargeable

Batteries… ugh.

If I never have to change another hearing aid battery — it will still be too soon.

Get yourself a good rechargeable and you’ll never go back.

Not one with silly pins you need to hook up either — the good ones will have a magnetic charging case.

You just drop them in, and you’re good to go.

3. Voice Assistants

There’s something wonderful about having an AI assistant waiting at your beck and call.

Sure, I mostly use it to adjust my lights at home and initiate phone calls.

I’ll never forget the first time I tapped my ear and asked my invisible voice assistant to “Cast Jeopardy to my TV.”

It’s also useful for sending texts, streaming music, and changing the volume.

4. Tap Controls

I am not a fan of physical buttons.

A hearing aid that has a push-button on it is the worst — it just keeps getting pushed further into your ear.

Rocker switches aren’t bad, but there’s something better.

Motion sensor controls just need the faintest touch to activate — no more pushing or trying to find the switch.

Just get close and you can activate the button without any fumbling.

5. Dynamic Noise Cancellation

How much noise cancellation you might want will be different in every situation.

Generalized systems just never seem to get it right.

Dynamic options will let you choose what you want to hear, and change it at any time.

6. Crisp Audio

This is obvious — but of course, I had to add it to the list.

If your hearing aid isn’t giving you the natural-sounding audio you want — it’s not doing its job.

When you’re looking for a new hearing aid — go for the truly advanced technology you deserve.

Get a waterproof device with a rechargeable battery and the ability to connect to 8 different Bluetooth devices.

Get a voice assistant accessible through a motion sensor-controlled gentle tap.

It’s your hearing — and there’s no device you’ll use more often.

Get the best — because you’re worth it.
